SouthShore Hotel on Lake Bemidji

I came to Bemidji to visit my family. I decided to stay at the South shore hotel because I thought it was nice but man was a I wrong. Front desk service was excellent. My room was a just a Standard queen room. My room was somewhat clean, it seemed like the housekeeper rushed to clean it. It seemed like they cut corners to get the room done as fast as possible. On my last day of my stay, I talked with the front desk to figure out why the room was rushed. They told me a housekeeper manager cleaned my room , I think the manager named started with a S or something. Doesn’t matter I figured the housekeeping department was short staffed or they had to pull a manager to clean the room as quickly as possible. Last time I ever stay there. I wouldn’t recommend staying there if I were you. Next time

I really loved my stay. I was there for business and I stayed for three weeks but I went back home on the weekend. Rooms were always clean, no signs or roaches or bedbugs, a/c and heater worked great, refrigerator and microwave also were clean and worked great. Parking was also good. Honestly I can't recommend it enough. If you are in bemidji, stay here.

I stayed here for 1.5 months while my home was being repaired due to our June storm.|The staff is very friendly and kind and so helpful. |They too were affected by the storm, however that hotel ran so efficiently.|It is a very clean hotel from the grounds to the interior. |Andrew, the GM, is a very hands-on manager. |He was always helping staff, customers or dealing with contractors.| His staff has a lot of respect for him as well as myself. |It's a wonderful place to stay.| You will not regret your stay at South Shore hotel.|Thank you all for your kindness and support during a wild time in my life! |Mary

This is the most beautiful hotel with Lake Bemidji spanning across their lovely lobby. When calling for reservations the front desk personnel are always so friendly and accommodating to your questions and needs. Someone is always cleaning somewhere in this hotel. It is always spotless! The employees working the dining and breakfast area are always sweeping and so friendly. We talked with Kim who was so nice. Your employees are always smiling and friendly and make your day better for it! Thankyou!
