Americas Best Value Inn & Suites Victoria

I was here for four nights for work and was looking for a quiet comfortable place to stay. I seen this one but drove around a little to check out other ones since I didn’t know Victoria. Didn’t really care for the others and not what I was looking for so I drove back to this one. Read the reviews. Everything seemed good in the reviews so I thought I would try it. The hotel staff is absolutely wonderful. Everyone that I spoke with was extremely helpful. The room was pretty good size. It was clean. Had everything I needed. The bed was my favorite part of the room. It was extremely comfortable, great bedding, fluffy pillows. This is very important to me since I have hip problems and cannot sleep in hard beds. I really enjoyed staying here and I will definitely put this on my list as a must st

Positive: Nothing Negative: Room was filled with stained walls, linens and carpets. The first room they assigned us someone was living in. The second room was on the other side of the building where most ppl on that side are living in these rooms as well. Do not stay here.

We were these to visit UofH so we wanted something near by. We were only there for one night and because we had paid decided to tough it out. Nope, never again.||||GOOD||Staff at the front desk was very nice.||The TV worked and there was WIFI||||NOT SO GOOD||The motel is very old and in need of serious repair and updating beginning with the parking lot and driveways. They have large pot holes that if you're not careful could cause damage to your vehicle.||We reserved a non-smoking room but it clearly was not. It smelled of smoke and must or possibly mold.||The door had gaps when it was closed so any cool air from the a/c escaped as fast as it was generated.||The chair was stained and had clearly seen better days. The carpet was old and we weren't sure about the cleanliness so walked around

There was nothing about this place that was good. The stairs going to the second floor was so rusted, it looked as if they were going to collapse. It was 5 o'clock in the evening when we checked in and asked if they could put our rooms close to each other and the desk clerk stated that 26 of the rooms were still dirty and not sure if he could. The carpets were stained. The bathtub surround was coming apart from the wall. The front door handle and lock were loose from the door and was unsafe to stay in. The photos for this Motel must be old. Nothing looks like the pictures. We ended up staying at another Hotel. So it cost us each for 2 hotels for the night.

We were very pleased with Mr Alam was an amazing,very polite gentlemen and customer service above and beyond and he took care of our needs right away cause after driving for 3 hours, we just wanted to get some rest and then continue our journey the following Sunday to El Paso Texas please recognize his hard work!
