Americas Best Value Inn & Suites El Centro

My boyfriend has stayed at many motels and this is by far THE WORST one. DIRTY &BAD SERVICE. Front desk service was bad. I called and she told me they would charge me full price of the room if I don’t show up within 30 min after I make the reservation and give the room to someone else. There is no pool. It’s all dry. The room looks nothing like the photos. The room is extremely dirty. I saw four dead cockroaches in the room and the bedding had very visible stains. I didn’t stay in the room at all. I immediately went to ask for a refund. The front lady did not help and told me to ask my booking site for refund.

This place was sketchy when we pulled up. Several dozen young men hanging out in front of their rooms at 1:00 PM. It turned out they were part of a group of legitimate farm workers waiting for their company's bus to pick them up later in the afternoon to take them into the farm fields BUT it felt like the place was being used as a shelter for the less fortunate. There was even a company provided food truck that fed them plated lunches. We did not feel comfortable and did not want to stay but the woman in the office said we had to pay for the first night and she would refund the second. She did not refund the second night (she actually lied) and that is currently being disputed by my companies' third party booking site. But? It gets worse.||The room...Tiny with no room to even move around.

Positive: Other than the price Negative: They don?t serve breakfast. Staff was very rude,second night there got to hotel late was not there all day and had no toilet paper so I walked to the front desk the lady there got mad when I asked for a toilet paper roll she said at this time

I should have listened to the old reviews before booking this for a family thing. Horrible service. Horrible rooms. There is NO pool even though there are photos of a pool. The room photos look nothing like the rooms. The wifi is horrible and does not connect from the 3rd room from the office. Will NOT ever stay here again. Had to borrow a broom to sweep after the manager claimed it was just cleaned.

The room was comfortable and clean. It’s located right next to in&out. I’m down there every week for work and have stayed there a couple times, the lady at the front desk always makes me feel welcome and lets me hang out and talk to her for a while after a rough day at work. It’s very quiet at night and I always get a good nights rest. It’s definitely hard being away from home but having a good place to stay makes it much easier.
