Americas Best Value Inn Starke

Been in this motel a number of times. It really comes down to which room you get...some are better than others. Having said that, I must add the whole place is pretty run-down overall. Some of the sink fixtures are detachable. In the last room I was in, I killed four cockroaches (little ones, luckily) & caught some kind of rash from the bedsheets. Bedbugs? I didn't see any but who knows?... I'm not staying at this place again. If you absolutely NEED a room for the night then try your luck...there are probably worse places in town

Positive: None Negative: You could tell that they sprayed bleach in the bath tub and didn't actually rinse it out, no coffee maker, and air filters were full of dust.

The room was semi clean till we got into the tub in 107. We turned on the jets and a ball of hair came out so we decided to take a shower instead when we turned on the water the shower head was making a high pitch noise the whole time takin a shower. The bed was comfortable but had stains on the mattress and sheets. While sleeping we were woken Up by noises from the shower head I assume the pressure from other rooms taking a shower since it would be the only time it would make the noise. We’re definitely not impressed this time and we’ve stayed here multiple times.

Staff were very cordial and helpful. Front desk staff excellent. Housekeeping staff excellent. Room was clean and did NOT have the older motel smell. Plenty of hot water. Only one thing kept it from a 5 star budget hotel—there was no coffee. None available in the room and none available in the lobby! The staff was apologetic about it but they did not provide coffee as a courtesy or to purchase. Even a budget hotel should have coffee.

Was alright quiet circle k cross street every time used card 1 had to go office every time. If hotels was perfect we all be living there
