Americas Best Value Inn Pottstown

Absolutely terrible room had a lamp with no light bulb or shade , no ceiling light and only 1 or 3 bulbs worked over sink! Holes in ripped up plastic curtains with tape to keep them closed. Room smelled and tiny bathroom smelled of sewage. Saw 3 roaches in matter of an hour took one to front desk and they actually had the nerve to ask for money for a room change! The pictures don't even have like the same place. Banging on walls all night and yelling. I know $80 a night is on the inexpensive side but this place should not be charging that much half would be more expected by the conditions and even then seem like to much.

Positive: Nothing Negative: Yes it was disgusting. No fire alarm no lock on door holes in the walls I have pictures of everything

First off, we needed a place to stay and not being picky we chose here. Charging THIS MUCH for the nastiest room ever is insane. The locks in the bathroom didn’t work, the heater smelled like death, a lock on the door was completely missing (?), the blankets might as well have been pillow cases, the walls are crazy thin, and the other people staying here were genuinely crazy. Who has full blown arguments at midnight with your room door to the outside WIDE open..? Not to mention the creepy sounds outside the entire night and the constant lingering fear of someone breaking in with how unsafe and nasty the place was.

Hotel staff was very rude, unaccomodating, wouldnt even get me towels. There's no breakfast ever, so that's a lie. The rooms are dirty and unkept. This establishment should truly be dozed.

This place is dirty on the outside- trash everywhere even old tires. People sitting & hanging out on the walkway like they clearly live here & staring us down when we walked by to get our room. Room was as small as my kid's room at home & smelled "wet." Like as if the carpet was mildewed or something? That kind of smell. Drag marks across all the walls. Wanted to charge a fee when we asked to change rooms! We let them keep our whole purchase amount and went elsewhere because it's ludacris to charge when the room stinks & the outside of your property should have told us everything we needed to know.
