Americas Best Value Inn - Loma Lodge

Positive: Our room was clean. This is a solid budget hotel. It's nice that they have 2 room/3 bed options for larger families. Negative: The hotel is old and needs maintenance. The neighborhood is sketchy but close to the airport, so it served our purpose for a quick stay after a delayed, late-night arrival. Some of the common areas smelled.

Nice place! Conveniently located near the airport. Looks better in person than on Google Street View. Clear and well kept common areas, and spacious, well equipped rooms. Quite a nice pool. Right across the street from Bevmo and short walk to many food options. For the price this place is a bargain!

A budget hotel with basic needs. Beds are aged, and quite hard. A/C does not work well, shuts off and will not restart. Constantly having to wake up to reset it. Room was mostly clean with minor mold in the bathroom. So far I have seen no bed bugs or cocroaches on the second floor as mentioned in other posts. Staff is very helpful. Good value - spartan room.

The service was great. Staff was kind and knowledgeable. You get what you pay for with the price. The place was affordable. The location felt safe. But probably shop around first. The room was SO PUNGENT with smoke smell, whatever you think when you read this multiply it by two. My eyes watered when I entered the room because the smell was so strong. TV didn’t seem to get any channels, but there is complimentary WiFi. There is a small microwave and fridge. Be warned the doors do not have a double lock so I put a chair next to it feel a bit safer. The beds seemed not to well cleaned - I found hairs before even getting into it a the pillows where kind of an off yellow color…

I had a pleasant stay. It was clean, the bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you’re not looking for anything fancy. This is the perfect place to stay when on a budget or just like saving money. I would definitely return again. Placed to shop and dine out are within walking distance.
