They accommodated us last minute on our trip. Reception was very kind and easy to deal with, the booking process was smooth, easy, and seamless. Room was affordable too compared to other rates we were getting. Check in was also quick and easy, they were friendly and prompt. Room was clean with nice little amenities. TV stations came in great. The curtain was nearly black out which was nice for sleeping in. Appreciated the non-carpeted floors too. Was a great place to stop on our way through!

Family run business! God bless America! Rooms were nice, price is right, room has all the amenities! I forgot my watch in the room when we checked out, & they called us immediately to turn around and go back. Great people! I would recommend staying here.

Murdo is a small but friendly town. I had a wonderful experience at the American Inn. My room was simple, clean, and comfortable. The owner was incredibly helpful! He was able to recommend some places to eat and was kind enough to offer a ride (I was on a motorcycle and it was hot out). The location is convenient to the interstate. Definitely worth considering.

I'm not sure what the bad reviews are about...we had an excellent one night stay on our way through and would be back in a heartbeat! I realized we were going to be arriving late and called the hotel to be sure someone knew we were still coming...the gentleman that answered was so kind and said he would be gone but our key would be waiting. He texted me a photo of where to find it and gave our room number. On arrival, the key was exactly where he said, we opened the door to possibly the cleanest room we've ever stayed in, and fell asleep within minutes. Comfortable beds, microwave and fridge in the room, coffee maker. Abundance of towels in the bathroom. Everything so clean. In the morning, the man I assume I talked to the night before was cleaning rooms...said good morning, and we were on
