American Eagle Inn

I liked it but it had dirt in the bed. And when it rained it has a leak on top of the bed and the bathroom also had a leak and the two the toilet was dirty and they did not change the sheets or wash the blanket and I had paid $77.50

We were happy to find a room so soon after hurricane Florence. Good location....near food,Walmart, Dollar Tree, fast food restaurants and other stores and shops. Room very clean, quiet and well managed by owners. Entire motel, building, parking area and room well maintained. Clean bedding, towels and furnishings. Prices are reasonable. We were here about a week and our stay was wonderful. Very nice owners. They are hands on in running their business and doing a great job. We definitely will come again when in the area.

I've stayed there on several occasions and it's not as bad as some of the others have made it out to be... but then again I suppose some of the rooms are better than others, so perhaps some of the complaints are valid. The location is good - the coffee shops, eateries, and bars, etc. located in little downtown Fayetteville are almost right outside your doorstop, all within walking distance(as is the liquor store. It's right across the street-- meaning you can have a few drinks and don't have to drive anywhere!). And the owners are super-nice. On the other hand, theres a good bit of drug activity and prostitution in the area. And the place could definitely use an upgrade. Given its location, and with all the upgrades happening downtown, this place has alot of potential...just needs a little

So I'm actually surprised as many people gave decent reviews of this place as they have. I give it 3 stars because it worked out good enough for me. The check-in went good. Was done in less than five minutes, and you don't have to pay any deposits. The room wasn't bad. Had most of what I needed, but would have been nice to have a microwave and coffee maker there. I booked on the Hotels.com app so I got a lower price on the nightly rate. It's not quite the days inn, but if you're on a budget it might do. It was clean so that part works out, and TV had a lot of channels to choose from. The downside ... While the location is close and even within walking distance from the downtown, it is in what would be considered a bad spot in town. A lot of street bums go walking by and tend to g

BED BUGS!!! BED BUGS!!! BED BUGS!!! Single most disgusting motel I've ever seen. I was only staying there one night so I could attend a convention. Everywhere else was booked up and I wasn't planning to be at the motel much anyway. The entire property was gross. Everything was covered in grime and dirt, and I haven't even gotten to the room yet. The room was horrible. The microwave didn't work. The toilet seat was broken. The room was filfy. It's the kind of motel you'd see in a rob zombie movie. Absolutely repulsive. I wouldn't advise anyone to stay there. Also I got completely bitten up by bed bugs and I didn't even sleep under the covers. If I could put negative stars i would. This place should be condemned. There's a reason they have a no refund policy posted at the check in desk. Save
