American Dream Bed and Breakfast

I love this place! I've stayed here three times both by myself and with a friend and it's perfect for what it is: relatively cheap for NYC private lodging, relatively close to subway stops that let you get most places, cozy atmosphere inside, free breakfast and coffee, and clean. Staff have always been nice and welcoming. I haven't made much effort to be social with other guests during my stays so I can't comment on that aspect, and the only downside is the surrounding neighboorhood is pretty dead at night, but I'd certainly recommend.

Love it, love it, love it. Surpassed our expectations. Very clean. Staff were spot on. The breakfast was as advertised and more, croissants, bagels, fruit, cake, and all leftovers accessible throughout the day. Showers were roomy and always comfortable and clean. We had a private bunk room, dinky but totally adequate. Air con was excellent and a blessing. Central and easily accessible to all of Manhattan, particularly Lower East Side. Great neighborhood deli/grill/convenience stores and some local bars. LOVED IT.

They had me at “hello”. Some of the sweetest young ladies I have ever met for staff. I needed a place for one night before flying out of JFK. The place has four floors and the lobby is one floor up. I am an old lady with a big suitcase but managed to drag it up one stair at a time. Thank goodness they accommodated my request for a room on the lowest floor, where the lobby is. I felt very safe there as a solo woman, room was small but clean and breakfast was just what I like to eat. They lent me the office phone so I could arrange a shuttle service to the airport. Go-with-us shuttle was only $35 and they were on time. I got a taxi from Penn Station which was $21 so not too bad at all.

Absolutely amazing stay. The place might not look like anything crazy from the outside but it’s the inside that counts. The rooms are extremely clean and same with the bathrooms. This place is extremely cozy and perfect to stay in. The staff are very helpful and sweet and caring. The shower water pressure is incredible and even better than my own home. The breakfast is wonderful they gave us Dunkin’ Donuts, fruits, bagels and bread cereal. Everything you need. The location is right near a perfect subway to take you anywhere you need and 10 seconds from 3 parking areas. For the price, I would prefer this place over any major hotel or overpriced hotel. Amazing price for the location and quality of this hotel!

I had a very positive 4-star experience at the Sky Hotel Flushing. The rooms were a major highlight, earning a solid 4-star rating for their comfort and quality. Both the service and location were dependable and met the standard 3-star expectation for a convenient stay in Queens. It was a reliable choice for my trip.
