Amber Lantern Motel

This is one of the cutest places I have ever stayed at. It has so much character and gives off a nostalgic weekend at the cabin with your family vibes. Tom, the owner, is so so welcoming and he does the most amazing job at making you feel welcome and like family. Highly recommend this place if you’re planning a visit to Lake George. The location is perfect, only 10 minutes from the downtown area and 15 minutes from basically everything else. We will 100% be back. Thank you Tom for the amazing stay!! See you next time <33

This 1960s family-run motel is great. We wanted rustic and we got rustic! Sure it's not fancy, but if you want that go to the Marriott! This was great for our family in 3 separate cottages. We swam each day. The owner Tom is fantastic to deal with prior to arrival and even better once you're there. No request is too much trouble. ||||I saw comments about people and dog issues. You should CALL THE MOTEL before booking (don't rely on on-line reservation)so you don't have surprises when you arrive (we didn't have dogs, but many people do). I think you're lucky to find a place that allows dogs, but you can't go off and lock them in a strange cottage all day and not expect them to bark. Same with large and barking dogs. Can't say enough great things about our stay. This will be our families 2nd time staying at the Amber Lantern and will definitely be back again next year. This gem is located 5 minutes away from Canada Street and all attractions associated with Lake George. Tom and his wife are a pleasure to deal with and are super accommodating. Little fun fact about this place is that all the cabins were constructed solely from wood salvaged from the World's fair!!! Amazing, right?!?! 👍🏼👍🏼Would recommend 💯 percent

Location is great right in the middle of both Lake George Village and Bolton Landing. The cabins themselves were rustic and cozy bathroom a tad small but nonetheless in term of cleanliness was very upkept. Tom, is very accomadating to your needs very amiable and approachable. Very cool guy and it shows he cares about your stay.

Just got home from 3 nights here and it was perfect for us. The kids loved the 2 bedroom cottage and the pool. Close driving distance to everything in town. And the owner Tom was super friendly and great to book with. We'll definitely be back next time we visit the area.
