Aloft Sunnyvale

I stayed here over the weekend and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. We were greeted with a very warm welcome, and the service remained excellent throughout our stay. A special thank you to Anthony and Lucy, who were both incredibly helpful and attentive. It’s the thoughtful extra touches that really make this hotel stand out from others in the area. Highly recommended!

Nice hotel and convenient location, the only thing I can complain is the walls are paper thin at night.

I stayed at this hotel for business for one night. The Aloft Sunnyvale Hotel was modern and chic in style. I liked how there were different colored lights on the lobby floor. I drive to this location but coming here at night, the environment felt suspicious. There were some people circling around the parking lot staring. It didn’t feel safe at night.||The hotel staff were lovely and welcoming. They led me to a spacious room that had a fantastic bedding. The TV for some reason didn’t work and when I tried calling front desk, the phone didn’t work either. The TV remote had some odd water residue and I surely don’t want to know what it is. Highly disappointed. We stayed in a queen room. It was outrageously tiny. Barely enough room to get around the very firm and uncomfortable bed with equally firm and uncomfortable pillows. It felt like I was rolling into the middle of the bed all night. I slept on an angle. Not fun. The AC/heater is in the ceiling and blows ON your face and head all night. We shut it off and then it became stuffy in the tiny room. If you want privacy when using the toilet, ask your partner to leave. The sliding glass door does nothing and there’s still a giant gap when it’s closed. Our tiny window opened up to the view of the neighboring building’s wall. Parking is in a shared lot. That’s not helpful. There is no mini fridge in these rooms but I did request one and they fortunately had one to spare.

I’d like to appreciate Matthew from customer service who helped me correct my mistake on booking this hotel although I was not able to get to efficiently. Matthew not only helped me very patiently and kindly but also helped me with Airbnb who did not want to release my refund and I had multiple calls with regarding this reservation.
