Aloft Scottsdale

This was the worst night sleep that we have ever had at a hotel…ever. I understand now that this hotel is right next to a nightclub that blasts techno music until 2am…(apparently I should have researched this more before booking but I didn’t think that asking for a good night sleep at a $250/night hotel required “researching”). There was absolutely nothing that helped, it was so insanely loud. The staff was OK, but didn’t deliver the Valentine’s Day gift to my partner that I had ordered from them, which was disappointing. The room was comfortable- the beds were awesome- but it took us a whole day to recover after basically not sleeping for two nights straight. Won’t be back.

Positive: The staff. They went above and beyond to ensure all of our needs were met & made us feel so welcomed! Negative: The breakfast! It was not a free breakfast like we had hoped for & it was extremely over priced

The room was clean, updated, and I love that it wasn't carpeted. The staff was friendly and the amenities listed on here are accurate.|There was a coffeemaker, hair dryer, ironing board and iron, and a safe box. |It did NOT have a microwave or refrigerator. We were told you'd have to request them if available. Considering I was there for a marathon, a fridge was needed but they ran out. |There was a charging port on one side of the bed only. So if you're sharing the room, come prepared with a long cord. There was no switch for the bathroom ventilation fan that I could find. Breakfast is available for purchase only. But with no fridge or microwave, I couldn't buy perishables or microwavable food to bring to the room. There was no point in bringing leftovers back when eating out. Aloft gave

My stay here was nice, the staff were very friendly, it was located in a convenient spot especially for the bars and it was very clean. With that being said, the general design of the room wasn’t very user friendly, they opted for style not practicality. The bathroom did not have a full door on the shower just a half a glass panel with a hole, the shower always leaked a puddle of water onto the floor. There’s only an outlet on one side of the bed so if you’re there with another person someone has to charge their phone on one of the far outlets. And lastly, no refrigerator or microwave. Very cute hotel though

Like other posts state, this is an awesome hotel with amazing service it’s just loud. You’ll be awake till two, when the night club next door closes down. Yet, they give you ear plugs on your pillow in your room and they even offer white noise machines. With that, it’s definitely worth a stay!
