Aloft Savannah Airport

Not a good experience. This hotel used to be great. New management is TOXIC. Van used to take you around local now it’s prohibited. Van drivers are great - cannot speak highly enough of them. Front desk is clueless and management is horrible. Will only stay there if absolutely required. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

Staff great, room great, facilities good , great shuttle service from the airport, that’s a big thing for me, arriving late, it really helped

It is not often that I would write a review about a specific employee when we travel.||Some people go unnoticed and unappreciated in a big hotel.||Cory Johnson is one of your shuttle drivers. We met him at 6AM today on the way to Savannah Airport at the front door of the Aloft.||He was kind, warm, friendly, helpful and enthusiastic. These are characteristics of a fine hospitality business employee. As a matter of fact, during many decades as an employer, folk like this gentleman are hard to find!

The room was very clean. The location was not too far away from the historic district. I only had 4 hour of sleep. The persons in the room next to me played loud music late into the night. I couldn't even drown it out with white noise from my phone. It finally eventually stopped and there was a man (sounded intoxicated), who went on and on talking loudly into 1:30 in the morning. I've never experienced this before and it was my birthday. Bummer!

Great location, walking distance to strip mall. Rooms are clean and modern. Weird shower curtain as the door to make privacy to take shower. (Design fail) Major Downside is the person above us was walking non stop for over an hour starting at 5 am. Then we could hear someone's loud TV on. Front desk said sorry our floors and walls are thin. Not a good pick for a light sleeper.
