I stay in town for work frequently for a night or two at a time, have stayed here twice now and already booked my next stay. The rooms are clean and quiet, normal size for NYC. Despite the size of the hotel, I've rarely waited more than a few minutes for the elevator. Appreciate the clothing steamer in the room! The staff is far and away the best part - kind, friendly, and efficient, front desk, management, cleaning staff are all wonderful. Looking forward to returning!
Like the hotel's location, very close to Street 28 Subway. The staff allowed us to check in before 4pm when the room was available. The room is spacious but not enough table to put stuff, especially the toilet, no place to put toiletries. Overall is good
The location is excellent if you want to be near Rockefeller/Broadway area without being in the middle of the crowds, this is a good choice. The room had a great view and it was very cozy. Comfy bed, good size room to be in Manhattan. At breakfast, Stiven was amazing. On the contrary, when I went for the check out, they treated us super rough, not even a good morning or a how I can help. Just assumed we were cheking in and ask for my credit card and id. When I told her we were cheking out, she made a face and ask for the room number. Very rude young lady. Another thing I missed like at other Marriott properties, they didn't even gave us a complimentary bottle of water when checking in, no toiletries like a shower cap or q tips in the room. Anyway, I could go back. Overall, we liked this ho
If you are booking this hotel in winter, do not stay here. The heat in my room does not work. Throughout my stay the temperature has hovered between 60 and 65 degrees. The floors are so cold that walking barefoot is genuinely painful. This is not discomfort, it is a failure to provide basic lodging conditions. When I contacted the front desk, I was told there was nothing they could do other than offer additional blankets. Blankets do not fix a room that cannot maintain a reasonable temperature in the dead of winter. I was not offered a room change, a space heater, or any meaningful solution. A hotel room should at minimum be warm enough to exist in without layering up like you are camping. This was not a luxury issue, it was a basic habitability issue, and the response from staff made i
Basic ammenities was missing for a 4 star hotel. No toothbrush, facial cotton pads, ear cotton buds provided or room service. On some days, the water bottles was not provided during housekeeping. We were charged a luggage holding fee on the day of check-out without any signage/notice from the day before. Male front desk staff was condescending when asking for clarification about how different sized bags were charged, saying “I know what I’m doing”. FYI personal items like backpack and purses that are small enough to be placed on top of carry-on sized luggages are still charged as “carry on” for $3.
