Aloft Manhattan Downtown - Financial District

We really enjoy this property. The staff is wonderful as we travel here quarterly. We enjoy the fact the staff remembers us and makes sure that our service dog is comfortable as well. Special shout out to the housekeeping manager, Lizbeth as she and her team are always on their game making sure my room is prepared feather-free. We are grateful to this team. If I had one area of improvement for the GM and site owner it would be to ensure that your guests have access to use luggage carts! That was a small struggle this visit but please make that small enhancement for the overall guest experience. Many thanks, Jason

This was my first time staying at the Aloft in Manhattan and the staff was very helpful and so kind. Especially Valiesha, she was so kind to offer us the late checkout and was very understanding about needing early check in. I have never received such great customer service! I recommend staying here as it is close to the Brooklyn bridge. I booked a 2 king room and I was surprised by how spacious it was. You can hear other guests through the wall but it shouldn’t be that bad if they’re aren’t being loud on purpose other than that wonderful stay!

Positive: The hotel is attractively and modernly furnished, even stylishly. The rooms are exceptionally large/spacious for New York standards. Its location in the old city of Downtown is good for excursions to South Manhattan or Brooklyn. Negative: !My wife's purse was stolen out of her backpack in our room! The staff rating is the average of some very friendly and courteous employees and some truly rude and cheeky colleagues who should be fired immediately. Both elevators need renovations.

Not only is the location on a dark street no parking , the staff was rude , no help and very disrespectful… I prepaid for Valentine’s Day PAID before check in … I drive from Syracuse Ny arrive at 6:15pm …was told by the staff that my room was sold and since I didnt check in at 4pm they canceled my room and I had to call for refund . Lol after being on the phone with the night manager, I was told to either drive back to Syracuse since no rooms was available due to holiday or drive to Jersey . LUCKILY HOLIDAY inn Brooklyn greeted me. I told them my story they upgraded my room at the holiday inn to a high rise king room !! A LOFT is a joke please I do not recommend tho hotel !!!

Yesterday I checked in at the Aloft Hotel, Downtown Manhattan Wall Street. I had a 25 hour journey to New York, including a cancellation. Upon arrival at the hotel, I explained that I had come from Amsterdam and that it had taken me two days to get there.||Ann from the front office and Lisbeth, the housekeeping supervisor, responded absolutely wonderfully. I was immediately given a room, Ann took care of the administration right away, and Lisbeth was amazing she personally checked a room and arranged for it to be released so I could go straight to sleep.||This morning I met Valiesha and wow what a star! A true star in every sense of the word.||What warm and incredible people they all are! I have been a Hilton Lifetime Diamond member for 10 years, but this hotel will definitely be my choice
