Aloft Buffalo Airport

I have to say for the price this hotel is fine. Nothing great. Just average. Rooms were clean but a need refreshing or deep cleaning. I did have a problem with weed smell permeating the halls and in to my room in the middle of the night. Service desk was good. For a quick stay not a bad choice.

Positive: Best? Hmm...convenience to airport, friendliness of staff, food at the bar...Overall it was great for my needs. Burgers are giant by the way. Negative: Rooms could use more lighting.

My husband and I stayed here overnight Feb 1. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in a clean, modern hotel near the airport. The staff is exceptional. The minute we walked in the front door we were greeted by the receptionist with a lovely smile. She helped us check in and we met Mr Larry who shuttles people to the airport. What a great man he is. God Bless. Paul at the desk was fun too. Also the bartender was a great help with our boarding pass. Can't forget the friendly housekeeping staff too. All in all a great place to stay. Great location, close to airport and coffee shops near. Parking lots are poor lit and don’t give great comfort to security. Rooms are fine but weathered. Carpets need replacing. Halls smell like marijuana. Everything needs a deep clean. Price is right but will probably consider another spot next time.

Recently stayed for 2 nights as a little Staycation for myself to get some much needed sleep and peace and quiet. Unfortunately, I didn’t get either of those. I unfortunately was there the same nights as a travel hockey league. So both nights were full of loud kids running up and down the halls. That sucked but I wasn’t about to complain and get them in trouble for just being kids. The thing that I think was completely unacceptable was the fact that both days I needed to take cold/room temp showers. And when I brought it to the front desk attention, they informed me that I must have been showering during “prime showering hours”??? Like, what the hell even is that?
