AKA Central Park

Our trip to New York wouldn’t have felt complete without our stay at AKA Central Park. The location of the residence made so many spontaneous, last-minute plans wonderfully easy—whether it was stepping out for a walk, a meal, or an unexpected discovery in the city.||We stayed at the residence for a couple of weeks, and the experience exceeded our expectations. The room sizes were unbelievably spacious by Manhattan standards, which made our extended stay truly comfortable. The property was always immaculately clean, and the on-site laundry facilities were a huge convenience during our two-week stay.||What truly made our experience special was the warmth and professionalism of the staff. The bed was the most comfortable bed I have experienced in the US. So very thankful for that. But there was construction all around all through the night and the noise was bad keeping us from getting sound sleep. I think they should have some sort of warning about it when you book or ok their website. The room was spacious and clean. The kitchen was well equipped but I wish they would provide small travel sachets of basic things like oil, salt pepper etc as it is a place with a kitchen. And no view whatsoever. We were on the 12th floor and the natural light and view was missing.

We loved our stay at AKA Central Park! My husband and I visited NYC for two weeks to celebrate our birthdays and see the city at Christmas time. We wanted a kitchen and living room but also a hotel experience, with people at the front desk to greet and guide us when we had questions. AKA met those needs at a reasonable price and was well-situated in the city, close to Central Park and the subway. Food markets nearby made grocery shopping easy. We would stay here again if we were visiting the city for an extended time.

This is our second stay at this location and will definitely be back. The staff was wonderful and left me a small gift in preparation for the marathon. Elvis, Carlos and Geovanny made our stay easy by arranging transport to the airport and providing a high level of service. The location is great and everything you need is walking distance.

From arrival to departure AKA was ideal for us. So near Central Park, 5th Avenue shopping, art galleries, Carnegie Hall, the Lincoln Centre, theatres. |The accommodation couldn’t have been better - roomy, with excellent service from front desk as well, plus a cafe and gym. |I highly recommend AKA Central Park.
