Favorite place to camp with a tent. Hikes are easy for children and slightly disabled individuals. Parked my jeep and learned to leave the top on. One year racoons took my bag out and dumped the contents as they headed to the river. When they got there they left my empty bag as I had no food in it. They also opened a cooler and didn't want any of my American processed food! Saw so many amazing wildlife creatures in their natural habitat. A moose just munched on vegetation and watched my family for 45 minutes! 30 minutes from my home. (Wished my dog could join but it's a "Watershed' area.)

Awesome site close to town. The reservation system keeps the place quieter than many areas and I think not many people realize this resource is here. Only a few other sites were occupied while we were there. Great trail access, clean bathrooms, spacious sites

A beautiful, Salt Lake City managed campground, pleasant, short ride from downtown. Excellent for #S24O bike-packing trips :-) Wake to the sound of a rippling creek. Well maintained pit toilets.

This is one of our favorite spots to camp because it is so close yet feels so secluded. The campground rarely gets loud and because there is a gated entrance, there isn't much traffic. Just wish there were potable water available.

Very close to the city but far enough out and off the road that we didn't hear any traffic. There's a historic trail you can hike with great views! No fires allowed when we went up but we had a stove/cooker the ranger approved that worked great. Gentle water sounds, lots of shade trees and cozy spots for tents, made for a great overnight getaway.
