Adirondack Oasis Motel

We stayed here last July. Upon arrival I thought this was a nice place. The pool was closed for repairs, that was disappointing, however, since we were close to the beach we didn't mind. We simply placed our luggage in the cabin and left. We went to the village and had a wonderful time! Once we arrived back, we pulled the covers off the bed. What a nightmare! Blood! That's right blood on the pillows, sheets, floor, curtains, bags of trash in the bathroom. We didn't notice the trash as the door was closed when we checked in. We complained to the front desk, they did nothing! The woman Told us to call the owner. He of course was no help either. We demanded our money back as we booked for 3 nights. They refunded our money but the next morning recharged our debit card! Stay far aw

Clark's Beach motel the worst of the worst I have ever stayed at.||Dirty room and ants in bathroom with dirty rings around toilet.||Spoke with owner and did nothing. Just horrid.

The pool was under repair when we arrived, it would have been nice to know before booking considering it’s the main attraction of the place. Other folks checking in were equally bummed to find out about it. The room was outdated which would have been fine if it was cleaned properly. Lots of dust, hair, smears/drips on walls, stains on all the curtains. Holes in the walls and flaking ceiling paint. The room was hot, humid and smelled like chemicals and urine. The bathroom smelled like mildew and the shower curtain had mildew/mold on the bottom of it. The shower stall was poorly cleaned, not caulked well. There was even mildew in the knobs of the shower. The layout of bathroom was so awkward and we couldn’t sit on the toilet without bashing our knees against the opposite wall. We had to k

I spent 1 night in Lake George and this motel had the best rates. I was a little unsure due to some bad reviews, but it wasn't bad at all. It was safe and quiet. It has a quaint, vintage, mom & pop feel to it. You get an actual key, not a key card. The furniture is old. It's not fancy or sparkling clean, but the room has amenities such as AC, TV, coffee maker. It's in a great location, on the main road near the village. The only downside is that the swimming pool was out of order, but you're fairly close to the beach. If you're looking for a simple place to sleep and shower without spending a lot, this is your place. If you want something luxurious, then spend 4x as much elsewhere.

Overall a decent stay. They were quick to accommodate our large group last minute after we had an issue at our previous motel. The toilet wasn’t working in one of our room but they immediately got us a new room. Staff was friendly and pleasant. Good price and only a few minutes from the strip.
