A Lover of this property since day one & after all the years I am hear to tell you the quality has continued to grow with Amigo room now like night & day improvement ~ beautiful wood molding embracing the commune aesthetic. Really disappointed. If you are looking for the vibe a of pseudo-influencer electronic party, this is your place. The music starts early and loud, and gets only louder throughout the day. Bass is palpable all over the property. When I asked the front desk about this, they simply said "its on our website", and could care less and would not turn it down. The property its self is not kept well, paint is peeling, and there are these strange wire fences and access gates all over, giving you the feel of a prison. With this high price point, expected much better. In addition, their restaurant charges a "surcharge" but not clear for what- its not for tip of the servers, clarified that. Positive: The hotel is super cute and has a nice vibe. We also found the front desk staff to be very friendly. Negative: The pool signage states "no saving loungers" yet almost every chair at the pool was reserved (with towels, books, bags, and rarely people) by about 10 am. Also, the food/drink service by the pool was slow but you could tell staff was doing their best.

Far too expensive - a hipster-fied hotel pricing like a 5 star luxury palace. It is a motel. people openly do drugs on the property and they charge $9 for one cup of drip coffee plus, %5 surcharge, tip more like $12 a cup! The LA crowed floods in on the weekends and the calm and relaxing pool turns into a full on RAVE with music that will make you lose hearing if you haven't already lost it. $23 plastic up drinks? $10 waters? Stayed 2 nights for a friend’s wedding. Pros: comfortable rooms, appreciated that the pool was open late, lively ambiance that was conducive to socializing (enclosed patios, central pool area, etc). The staff was great, the clubhouse was rockin’, it was a really wonderful wedding! The actual per night cost of the room was on par for other hotels in town as well. Cons: did Scrooge Mcduck come up with these menu prices?? On one hand I know that I’m in Palm Springs for the beginning of peak season, I’m not expecting a $2 PBR. However, I am morally opposed to paying $30 for a smash burger. Considering that the location is a long walk from the main drag, the isolation made the prices feel intentional and predatory.
