AC Hotel Miami Beach

Nice and clean hotel. Excellent location with the beach across the street and little shops nearby. The hotel needs to employ more people or delegate jobs to people. When checking in, they only had 1 lady at the front. She was hustling wide open and couldn't keep up, I felt terrible for her. People checking in and the phone never stopped ringing with her doing 6 people's job by herself. The lounge down stairs only had 1 bartender, if you could catch him. The rooftop bar only had 1 bartender. A hotel that charges $2000 for 3 nights should have more service staff so they not working the staff they have crazy.

Overall, the staff was friendly and courteous. I had a medical emergency and needed to be transported to the ER and the night staff was busy on a tech support type call and did not leave that call or put them on hold. They did call 911 and had me the phone. Technically that was all that was required however it would have been better customer service to focus on me for a few minutes I feel. I was at a training and they provided a snack, coffee, water and soda daily. That was nice. My daughter came with me and hung out by the pool or on the beach which was very convenient and she enjoyed that very much. I did feel safe. I wish I’d asked for the ocean view suite as my room faced the back street with construction and the balcony was not as pleasant. If I do go back I’ll request the balcony wit

DO NOT STAY HERE! This hotel literally expects you to change your own sheets, and will refuse to let you speak to a manager 20 days straight and counting. (I stayed there for 5). All documented - including that we are expected to change our own sheets.||This is a horrible place. Stay at the Motel 6 instead - it is classier.

AC hotel is on a central location. You can see the beach from the rooftop, great view. The best part is the staff. Nathan, Keton, Jessica were super friendly and helpful. My family didn’t like the room location. The staff changed it for us, with special gifts too. The bar is very nice, with pool table and a very friendly bartender. Will definitely recommend this hotel.

Positives: location - walk right across the street to the beach. Quick uber/scooter to the heart of Sobe, and you can even walk that way during the day. Front desk staff was super friendly (shout out to Shy! (sp?)), lounge staff also friendly. Location further north keeps things a little quieter and less hectic. Negatives: rooms are OK, nothing too fancy. No balcony (at least my room didn't have one). Bathroom towels need double bleached or replaced, towels had old stains on them. I guess the fire alarm went off, but it didn't go off on our floor; had co-worker's asking why I didn't evacuate (the alarm was a false alarm).
