My husband and I spent a few nights at this hotel to transition our daughter into Dartmouth college. It’s like 40 mins away but refreshing and clean! The stay was relaxing and the room was comfortably pleasant. The shower gel and hand soap were spa grade and overall, We would definitely stay here again. Plus we spent an extra day and did the beach that was 5 mins away and also enjoyed the heated pool and outdoor eating space at the hotel. There is a restaurant right next to the hotel where we got brunch and dinner and the trip was effortless. Everything was at our disposal. Food, ambience, nature, comfort and relaxation. Also they’re remodeling and I can’t wait to see the transformation in a few weeks.
We needed one for a family of four the night before skiing and snowboarding at Sunapee. It’s so close and there’s a great Irish pub next-door for dinner and live music. We will definitely be back.||The Hideaway Inn was clean and welcoming. Very comfortable beds with fresh white linens and fluffy pillows. Easy log in to Netflix on the flat screen. Bathroom newly remodeled, beautiful tiled shower, nice towels and elevated toiletries available. Great value for the price. ||There is no front desk staff on-site, so be on the lookout for an email to register and receive the access code to your room. We never received one so I followed up with Tripadvisor by phone and eventually spoke with a representative of the property who issued the email then & there, and we were all set. ||The common areas
We had the best family getaway at Hideaway Inns Mt. Sunapee! The Inn has such a cozy vibe, with warm lounges, records and record players throughout, nostalgic decor, and fun around every corner. ||My kids loved the indoor pool and we swam both days we were there. Towels were provided in the pool area so we didn't have to bring our own or use the bath towels from our room. ||A highlight was definitely the two playrooms. My kids were a bit old for the "Hideout" (so cute with toddler toys, puzzles, games, climbing structures, books and a tent) but they had a blast in "The Yard". It was a space where kids could just be kids. Games everywhere - ping pong, Jenga, Twister, giant Connect Four, and even two retro video games free to play. They could hang with other kids, we could play as a family,
We have stayed at this property for three seasons and were looking forward to our stay under the new ownership. There were a few improvements, some things that missed the mark, and other aspects we were very bummed about.||First, this is now a self-service property. Upon entering, we were familiar with the welcoming lobby setup and were able to access our room with ease. However, upon entering the room, we were immediately disappointed to find that there was no longer a table or any useful furniture. The room contained a king bed, two small night tables, one chair in the corner, a full-length standalone mirror, a record player, a noise machine, and a large empty space. This was a huge bummer for us. There used to be a table and chairs or a built-in nook. There was no place to sit other tha
Good stay, 5 stars for clean and comfortable room, convenient location. Stayed when our group didn’t fit in our vacation house nearby. Mt Sunapee shuttle stops at the hotel on weekends to pick up skiers. Note that hotel doesn’t provide daily housekeeping, but it seems housekeeping can be requested for “bigger messes.” We did have an issue with shower water not getting hot - when I inquired about it, it took many hours to get a reply and no solution was provided. Also requested more towels (you have to place your used ones in a laundry bag to exchange) and those were not picked up and changed either so we were without towels at one point. Overall nice location but service needs to be improved - there is no one at the front desk and response times vary. No towels or hot water when it was 6 d
