1st Class Lodging Reservation Service

This review is for a stay from a year ago. We have used 1st Class Reservations for 3 different stays over a period of a few years. The reservation process was easy and they had a huge selection of properties to chose from. Check in was easy. If you are checking out on a Sunday when they are closed, you just drop off keys to a drop box. Easy. The first two times we stayed at Cedar Bliss Cabin. Where we ran into trouble was during our third stay March of 2018. We stayed at Cedar Bliss Star Cabin. Check in was simple as always. On our first night, the hot water went out. We called the owner, and he fixed it. The next day, the hot water went out again. The owner came out, apologized, and fixed it again. He made no offer to compensate us for the inconvenience of our water going out twice. Since

Stayed here May 2019 & returning for another trip. Cabin was amazing! Relaxed in the hot tub @ sunset, grilled some steaks, & enjoyed the scenery. The cabin had a BBQ pit outback which was nice. Very relaxing, peaceful weekend. A must do couples trip ❤️❤️

The company did what it was should do. They took the reservation online, confirmed everything over email since I don't have a cell number, check-in was quick and went smoothly.. I made these plans last minute.. After I'd made the reservations, I discovered I could have had the lodging for about $50 less a night through another website but there's no telling if it would have worked out as well through the other site. The Cedar Bliss Star Cabin is nice. There are a few FYIs that could be a plus or minus depending on how you look at it. First Class had given us a list of restaurants, the $10 breakfast voucher was only valid for two places.. It said three places but one was no longer in business.. We booked a home for $700 for two nights. After giving all my information and credit card information I was called back and told they had a computer "glitch" and the best price they could do is $858. I spoke with Melanie to tell her of my thoughts on the price change and I was hung up on. I cannot believe the lack of professionalism and customer service. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY if you are looking for a professional company to deal with.

I had reserved a room with this management company through VRBO for a saturday night. There was no indication that there was a 2+ night minimum through VRBO and I was able to successfully reserve the property. Within 30 minutes of booking I received a call from Karen at 1st class lodging informing me that there was a 2 night minimum. Baffled by this since it was not mentioned during my booking, I informed her that I would not be able to do 2 nights as we are only there for Saturday. They then cancelled my reservation for my 5 year anniversary with my girlfriend. I understand that there could have been a mishap when putting the property on the website, but honor the reservation that was made. There was no attempt to correct this error other than me adding another night....
