Zion's Camp and Cottages

We stayed two nights here while visiting Zion. Both outside and inside in this place was very clean and organized. Some cabins have only bunker beds while others have normal beds. You can view all information on their website. Booking on their website is also cheaper than somewhere else. There was plenty of amenities. They had toaster , coffee makers, fridge, roce coockers in the kitchen which was very helpful. Rooms were really good and comfortable. Planty of space for 4 ppl.

What we liked best here is the extra sink to help with preparing simple meals. There's no stove, just a micro and fridge, but it's a full-size fridge which is helpful. Biggest complaint: bed was very uncomfortable. We could feel the hard springs coming up, and it's soft. It is a very peaceful, quiet location which we enjoyed, convenient to Zion NP and reasonably priced, unlike Springdale. The coffee is provided in a large Folgers (or Maxwell House) can for you to scoop out into the coffee maker like you'd do at home. I don't know how sanitary that is with everyone sticking their hands in there to dish out their coffee, but we did and were fine. I'd stay here again.

We arrived at 9pm, informed that power would be out from 11pm to 5am with a note on the door (have a picture of that). We drove 5 hrs to the location to not receive a phone call or text to inform us about the power. I called the number to who ever is in charge of the property . You can understand the consumers frustration to the inconvenience. So I was trying to get some resolution to the problem, whether it be compensation or a simple sorry and this is what we can do for you . Instead I was accused of yelling, which did not happen. This person had the nerve to say “well when the power goes out she isn’t compensated.” Excuse me I not concern with your housing but a property that as a consumer I paid for . She still wouldn’t budge, she then said “well you aren’t staying there for free.” Th

Female property manage was extremely rude. We got to the property after a 5 hr drive to see a note on our door that our power would be out for the duration of our stay. My friend called to express our frustration of not receiving a text or email so we could find other accommodations before arriving, but they excepted us to stay the night with no power. We then found out that the property was notified 6 days before the power would be scheduled out. They refused to answer calls or text after our initial phone call where the Property manager expressed that she’s going to be unconvinced with the power outage too. Then shortly hung up on my friend. There are yurt like tents on the east side of Zion that have a hot tub/clean/comfy and well worth the drive

Loved the stay here , great parking, very clean bath rooms, bunk bed was available, fridge and microwave was very clean. Would definitely visit again when in the area.
