Ramada by Wyndham La Verkin Zion National Park

This place is seriously in need of a complete refresh, or tear down and rebuild. I could have taken 100 pictures in our room alone of how dirty it was, bathroom tiles pulling off the wall, bent door that jams, light switches that don’t work, standing closet pushed ridiculously over existing hanging art 😂, not to mention hot water takes 10 minutes to get warm, dead battery in remote, a million other things. This hotel is 3rd world at best. I will say, staff was friendly, price is cheap, but for the same money- drive 5 miles down the road to Hurricane and get a decent room. You’ll thank yourself later.

Our stay at the Ramada was okay. First I will highlight the most impressive part of our trip. The front desk manager was extremely helpful. When there were loud guests next to our room, we called him and he took care of it. He was friendly and professional. I rate him 5 stars. The hotel itself was needing some love. 1. Our room smelled like weed when we walked in. 2. Black mold in the bathroom 3. Stains and old food were in the carpet leading into our room. 4. Extremely thin walls, and our room didnt have a runner on the bottom of the door so the bright hallway light shined into our room, and we heard every step coming from outside. Our beds were clean and the pillows were okay. I wouldn’t recommend this as your first option.

Positive: Nice location, comfortable bed, excellent restaurant on the property. Negative: Room was not very clean, carpet was not vacuumed, no space to keep toilettes on or near the sink, damaged wall due to hitting oc foor handlr

The outside of the building and the hallways are unsightly, but rooms were pleasantly clean. Rooms were quiet and had the needed amenities. The breakfast lacked protein options, but that’s okay. Our biggest issue was that there was no water filling area (since we were there to hike, it was hard to stay hydrated). Some staff were great, some were more grumpy. Overall, an average hotel stay.

Very disappointed at Ramada, especially Wyndham for having this place listed as their chain hotels. This place does not meet their standards at all. Service was great, hotel staff were very polite and friendly, but the place itself is trash. Rooms were so dirty. The first room we were assigned was facing the main street and it was so loud with the noise, second room was a bit better noise wise, but still dirty. I got the water running in the shower and could see the dirty water on the shower floor, I didn’t want to touch anything around me at all. Thankfully we only booked the one night, and will never be back. Ramada needs to do better.
