Zak's Resort

My family has been coming here for over 20 years. Deer Lake is easily the best lake in the area, and Zak's is like no other. Barb, Dave, Gina, and Dave have done an amazing job maintaining the resort, and they help make it home away from home. We look forward to our time up here each year! If I could afford it, I would live here during the summer! Such a beautiful location right on the water. Great fishing. Incredibly friendly owners. But bring the mosquito repellent by the gallon!

This place is the best and is hosted by very kind people! Perfect place for all lake recreation or just to sit and watch the sunset. Zak's embodies the quintessential Minnesota Northwoods experience in my opinion. Fish on!

I go to this resort every year. It is like our second home for me and my bug family. "Cabin" more accurately describes this place, though. That aside, this place is amazing and I really recommend it for anyone looking for a summer getaway.
