Yellowstone Park Camp Resort

The host was very friendly during check-in. We were only there for a quick overnight stay on our way to Acadia National Park. All the paths and the bath house were well marked and well lit at night. The bathrooms were clean, though we didn't use the coin-operated shower. It seemed to be mostly seasonal campers with established sites, but we still felt welcome.

This was our first camping experience ! The Owners of Yellowstone Camp Ground were exceptional. Our camp site was really nice. The pool was incredible on those hot humid days and the WiFi service outstanding. The location of the Park (in Sanford Maine) to the proximity of the ocean, to Maine's historic sites, just "a hop skip and jump away". ||We really enjoyed our summer camping experience and have signed up for another fantastic summer at Yellowstone. Great value with awesome Hosts !

My parents have a camper parked on a seasonal lot at Yellowstone Park, that I recently stayed in. My first impressions were "ok a normal run of the mill campground." However, after I met the owners and staff my impression started to shift. They were all so friendly and accommodating, everyday they were out in the park maintaining the lots and interacting with residents (all positive interactions). The grounds are well manicured, the pool and surrounding area is nice, large kids playground, and very clean community bathroom/shower and laundry facilities (coin op). The residents are all very nice, they wave and engage in friendly conversations. At night they party, but not loud and into the early morning, most times 😉. Great experience! The other campers are all very personable and Buddy, the man who helped get us situated, is very sweet and accommodating. The bathroom was the cleanest I've seen in a campground, and the price was decent to boot (I paid 22/night for a tenting spot with water, calling in the day of). If you're tenting you'll end up in a lightly wooded near the back which has some privacy, although in our case there was nothing between our site and a neighboring one (luckily we ended up spending the night with our neighbors anyway). Can't go wrong here.

PROS: Nice, helpful staff. Very reasonable rates. Just a quick drive to the local beaches. Actively being updated. Friendly seasonal neighbors. Very family friendly. CONS: Some facilities still need updating. Bocce court and basketball courts are overgrown. Wifi is unreliable.
