Yellowstone Big Rock Inn

Here for family trip with a little one. Very happy with the stay, room is spacious, clean and come with a couch as well. This is probably one of the best 2 star place I have stayed at so far. It’s 2 mins drive to most of the dinning option, right beside the grocery store and there’s a paradise deli right beside it.

Positive: "" Negative: No continental or grab a bag breakfast, but we knew that when we booked the room.

The view from balcony was spectacular! Close to bars and restaurants. Had a room on 3rd floor with a kitchenette and it was perfect. No complaints and driving through the town we decided we had the best hotel at a reasonable price!

We were very happy with our stay at Big Rock Inn. With everything so expensive inside the park, this was a great alternative and we were so glad we stayed here. We visited Mammoth Hot Springs early evening, came back to Gardiner (10 min drive) and ate dinner, then stayed the night before heading south further into the park the next day. The room was large, 2 queen beds, a sofa, and a desk with chair. The bathroom was nice as well. If you are looking for somewhere to stay, this was a budget friendly option that was very nice.

Staff were top notch. The issues are with the room. The entire three nights we were at this hotel, there was a constant line of crawling insects in the bathroom and sink area. with one found on the bed. This has been mentioned several times in other reviews. Health department needs to pay a visit. The washcloths and towels are old and have been washed so many times I have rags in better shape. NO Breakfast. We travel over the summer and are on the road 4 - 5 months every year. We exclusively stay in hotels and as I have said before - NOTHING beats the Drury Inn & Suites. Full breakfast buffet. Full dinner buffet. Prices lower than other chain hotels. Drury Inn & Suites - we always choose this hotel whenever possible.
