Crevice Mountain Lodge

The county road to the property is admittedly terrible. Go slow & drive in a low grear. The B&B is wonderful. The double bed was the most comfortable I slept in during our entire MT vacation. The cabins are rustic, but spotless. I mean, they are seriously clean. And the hot water pressure - to die for. We stayed in an Airbnb in Big Sky prior - it needed a good dusting, had hard beds (we even bought foam pads to put on them) & I didn't wash my hair for a week due to the poor shower pressure & general lack of hot water. Crevice Mountain Lodge was awesome. Delicious food; seriously, really good. S'mores in front of the bonfire. Gorgeous sunsets. Don't be put off by the crap road or rustic look - the cabins are comfortable, warm, & supremely relaxing. Best place we stayed in MT! 2 adults & 2 t

Hostess was very nice/friendly, with good stories at breakfast which was a plus! Cabins were nicely decorated and clean!...The ride up and down was a bit trying though, you'll need a high clearance vehicle...?

Neat place to visit if you like old and rustic looks. It's old homestead cabins nicely placed deep in the woods with nearby trails just minutes from Yellowstone Park and town of Gardner montana. Road is a little rough and not for low cars. Wonderful owner operated.

What a lovely experience it was to stay here! The road up the mountain is definitely bumpy but if you drive carefully, there should be no issue. The cabin was ample, clean and cozy with many towels to use, the bedding was warm and the wood stove was easy to use. Cheryl was the most amazing host, she was very accommodating and sweet, anything we needed, she provided. Breakfast was a plus and always delicious. Thank you so much Cheryl! Definitely sad to leave but hoping to come back!

While the Crevice Mountain Lodge may not be suitable for the masses, it was certainly suitable for my family. Prior to booking, you need to realize that you will be staying in a rustic cabin with the bare essentials. Be advised that if you plan to hang out outside the cabin in the early mornings or evenings, you will need mosquito repellent. If you plan and prepare for your environment ahead of time, you will not be disappointed. Cheryl is a wonderful host and we appreciate being able to stay for three days. We were only able to eat breakfast our last morning there. It was good. We would definitely stay again when we get back to Yellowstone.
