Where do I begin? You know when you were younger and you’d go to your friend’s house for dinner and every time you walked in the door you’d get this wholesome feeling of “home”? Well that’s what it’s like staying with the Yates. From every edge of the beautifully mowed mix of grass and strategically laid turf for your convenience, to every light that gives you privacy, yet your own sense of comfort and security, Yates Resort is a 10/10 for me. That’s just the grounds too! The owners are even better. Hookups are easily accessible and well maintained in every season, giving you ample electric and strong water pressure. The lots are spaced out enough to where you’re not able to touch your neighbors rig when you walk outside and each site has very leveled small rock gravel. They even have a b

I usually only need 3 things when staying for the night. A clean place, a quiet place and kind staff or owners and Yates knocked all 3 out of the park. Their dog park is larger than most RV parks we've stayed in. If you're not a dog park person there are acres of field and a walking trail behind the property to wander. We stayed in their Boondock site which was fine for our 2 night stay. I would have had no problem extending more nights if we needed to. They provide water and electric, up to 50a, and the site was level and hard packed. The owners were great and we enjoyed talking about past places we have traveled to out west. If we're back in the area we would definitely stay here again.

Very nice and helpful staff. The owners are the staff and they take pride in their RV park. It is small but very well kept. They seem oriented towards multi week stays but we booked in advance and they had a spot open for our 2 night stay. It's very close to the Thermal Belt bicycle trail and within 10 minutes or so to town. They allow you to use their acreage next door to walk around on the trails. They even offered free firewood but it was too warm to take them up on it. All in all a very pleasant place to stay.

These folks, these wonderful folks! We had the pleasure of staying at Yates Resort by an unanswered prayer. We had heating issues with our vehicle on the way to Tennessee. Not knowing anything about where we were, we Googled the area and we were within 10 minutes of the resort. I called and explained what happened and Kim was ready to accommodate! She even told just how to get there! My family was shown hospitality from people whom we had never met! Both of them even offered to help us get setup. They offer all three service hookups on every site. Clean and neat areas with access to their dog park and a dumpster for the trash! If you're in the area and are looking for a quiet place to back in and setup and getaway from everything, please lookup Yates Resort! Great place and even better pe

We stayed at the Yates RV a few weeks ago. It’s small , but did not lack any need. The site was perfectly level and easy to back in with our class A. There were no issues with power, water or sewer. We saw the owner upon arrival and several times during our stay. She was very nice and friendly, and helpful with recommendations. The hiking trail was through the woods next to a creek, and most of it was mowed where it was needed. Moose was a big friendly dog near the trail. All of our neighbors were friendly. The area is very rural and quiet. Finally, Kim went beyond the call of duty and mailed our forgotten surge protector to our next stop. We can’t thank her enough.
