Gardo's Motel

Best place ive lived been here for awhile,good people made friends,owners are really nice people,and very understanding if you ever need a quiet place to sleep or stay gardos motel is the place to be im happy to found this place

I stayed there for 2 nights May 31st and June 1st 2017. I saw no bugs, dirty furniture as stated in other reviews. I was in the far right building, second floor. It was clean, quiet and I slept well. I would recommend to anyone wanting a nice place for a very reasonable price. They were remodeling while I was there. I was very pleased, and would stay there again, Nice place! Gary from Va.

They could use a good deep cleaning. Housekeeping doesn't really clean the showers. Housekeeping is once a week. Sheets all have burn holes in them. There were a few roaches on the wall. I seen big ones around one particular wall and baby ones in the microwave and fridge. The rooms could definitely use larger refrigerators. You can keep anything in the small ones that are in the room. So plan to go out and get food stuffs every day if your staying for longer than a day or 2. Owner is very nice, it's not a bad place to stay and you CANNOT BEAT THE PRICE! $45 a night or $250 for the week. That's for 2 adults. I'm not sure about any up charges for kids or additional people. Not bad at all. Our room was clean. Linens were clean. Bathroom was clean. Not a single bug was seen. Management was polite and helpful. Though, none of the furniture matched and two of the four walls were painted concrete block, I found it rather interesting and quite cozy. We paid $45 for the night and we WOULD stay there again.

I absolutely love the little bike trail right across the street. The atmosphere is pleasant. People here mind their business and are friendly. Haven't had any issues with anyone and the guy in the office is super nice. On my second night I did have a bug in my room but someone came up right away and took care of it and offered to move me to another room if the problem persisted but I haven't had an issue since. Really not a bad place if you're a decent human being.
