Thrifty Motel

Definitely don’t recommend staying here they got roaches and the rooms look horrible

Stayed there for a week and I felt like I needed a bleach bath to remove the roach filth. No carpet on floors. Old beds. Very small rooms. Gardos is a better deal for the price difference.

This is the worst motel I have ever seen. The rooms are dirty. Roaches are everywhere and the front desk clerk is a gossiping, rumor spreading liar. Stay away from the thrifty hood. Should have been comdeamed years ago. The toilets don't flush properly. The air conditioner leaks water inside the room. Mold on the walls and I'm sure under the floor covering also. Hasn't seen a coat of paint in years. The ceiling leaks. Wifi only works if you are next to the office. The cable is fuzzy and most of the channels are too fuzzy to watch. They use false advertising in the paper. There is no studio apartment. You would be better off sleeping under a bridge. The staff goes in the rooms when you are gone and goes through your belongings. This is the worst motel on the planet.

Clean, inexpensive rooms. Great place to stay especially for out of town workers. Close to everything, grocery stores, shopping, restaurants. Katie, the manager is a great gal. She is friendly and full of helpful information. Be sure to say hi.

Place has serious roach and bed bug problem. Serious drug addicts hang out problem manager very unhelpful, rooms dirty, dirty linen and pillows. Not a good place to stay just as their other Motel Stagecoach Inn in Spindale N.C. very unclean, roach , bed bugs and rat problem.
