Yarberry Campground

Awesome small campground. Sites are well kept and very spacious. Very nice lake views. It was super quiet other than boat traffic on the lake. Host was very nice and helpful. Bathrooms could use some updating but still very usable and they are individual full baths with air conditioning. Had a great time.

We hadn't planned on being in Lenoir City but our truck broke down on I-40 and we found this gem. No reservations but they managed to squeeze us in for more than 52 days until we got our truck back and could tow again. Beginning with the Manager Bill going above and beyond to get us settled in and then the front desk ladies including Penny, Pam and Lori were amazing...rearranging and finding us a total of 8 different sites over the 50 plus days. Ken and Bill moved our trailer with their cars to all but 1 of the 8 sites. Eric and Michael checked in on us regularly too. Felt like family. Really don't know what we would have done without this amazing, kind and caring staff. Not to mention the incredibly peaceful park like setting...there are no bad sites. Plenty of water. If I could give 0 stars I would. I have never seen so many angry people in an office in my life. Bathrooms need remodeled. Only nice thing is the view. We have camped in many states and I have never ever written a bad review like this one. Not friendly at all. They were arguing with customers who had their reservation cancelled mysteriously. They are never wrong.

I liked the campground a lot. The only complaint I have. There is a lot of under brush on the river side of the campground making it very difficult to see the water on that side. The inlet side of the campground had great water view. I'm definitely going back

Yarberry is a great campground. The staff at check in were very nice and helpful. There is a beach with access to the lake. We had a site that was on the lake and was able to get in it there. The 5 mph speed limit in the campground is strictly enforced, so be aware. There is also a large parking area and boat ramp. There is a dump station on site across from the office. It only has 1 hole, so it's one at a time. Highly recommend!
