Yankee Trail Motel & Breakfast Restaurant

For the few times we have visited Meredith and Lake Winnipesaukee we have stayed in the Weirs Beach area. No more. Spent 2 nights at Yankee Trail and loved it. Rooms are very clean and functional (like having a key rack by the door); and rates are reasonable. Ample parking right in front of your unit. Very quiet even if it being on a main road. Pool wasn't open since ours was an October visit but looked inviting. We loved having breakfast on site---------great selection and saved a trip into Holderness or Meredith. Only downside is that the WiFi can be spotty. Finally, very nice and accommodating owners.

The couple that owns this motel we’re very nice and friendly. The rooms we’re beautifully updated. The free breakfast was awesome and the chef was very friendly. The owner suggested we go to the Squam Lakes Nature Center and we ended up spending all day there! I would definitely come back here!

We had a wonderful stay at Yankee Trail Motel - our room was beautiful, clean, and extremely comfortable. The check-in process was easy, the owners were nice, and the booking included breakfast, which was delicious. We were just in town for the weekend, but we will definitely be coming back for a longer vacation!

The word motel always seems to have a bad rap. This motel is the opposite of all the stereotypes. The rooms are clean, thoughtfully decorated and laid out. The pool is dated but clean and welcoming. The breakfast that is included with your stay is made to order and delicious! The owner and employees were welcoming, friendly, trusting and laid back. I highly recommend staying here. Also a easy commute to Gilford for concerts at NH Pavilion.

My first impression of this motel was that of nostalgia since I spent many times in many motels in New Hampshire. This is my favorite and I only just stayed here this past July. I don’t even know how to state how wonderful and inviting this motel is. The beds were so comfortable it made sleeping so easy. Then you get a full served breakfast made individually for each guest baste on the fabulous menu. Everything was so cozy and the decorating was wonderful. The lakes in the area provide a lot of outdoor activities. The owners vision for their place is that I will have to come back often to see how it all develops but for now, you could not get a better place to stay for all that it gives.
