The Inn on Golden Pond

My husband, dog, and I spent a weekend at The Inn on Golden Pond, and it was magical. It was a busy, full time at the inn, but Erica and Mike were incredibly gracious. Breakfast was so delicious, and our dog loved her doggy breakfast, too. She also loved the outside fenced in dog area and hanging out in the living room near the fire. We stayed in the Loon Room, which has an incredibly comfy bed and a couch and tv where we watched the movie On Golden Pond. Erica helped us figure out a good hike on the Chamberlain-Reynolds trail nearby. We will definitely be back with our adult children as soon as possible.

Spent three fabulous nights here, during the latest ice storm. The inn is very comfortable and cozy. Great common areas to play games or just relax. We brought our golden retriever who was treated like royalty. Mike and Erica are fabulous inn keepers and are so personable. We spent a lot of time talking with them. And the other guests that stayed there all were super friendly. Breakfast was fabulous for both us humans and our dog. Loved the warm muffins served at 7 o’clock each morning before breakfast. Definitely recommend staying here!

We truly enjoyed our stay with innkeepers Mike and Erica!! Our room was beautifully decorated and the sheets were blissfully soft. We felt so at home. Our dog Charlie was able to have breakfast with us each morning. We will definitely be returning. Even though it was off season, there was plenty to do and see in The Lakes Region including a wonderful little trip to Sandwich New Hampshire!

We stayed at the Inn on Golden Pond a few weeks ago with our two children and had a wonderful time. The inn is beautiful and the living area is packed with games, coloring pencils, and coloring books for kids. The breakfast is phenomenal, and they have coffee, tea, and muffins available 24/7. We were the only family staying in the inn during our trip and Erica and Mike's family was so welcoming. Their children kindly played with our older son. This is really truly a family-friend place to stay! We plan to return in the summer months.

Innkeepers Erika and Mike have done a splendid job creating an inn that feels both homey and high-end at the same time. The rooms are tastefully decorated, with great amenities and luxurious bedding. We were surprised to hear that our room was one in which dogs are welcome; the room was immaculately clean, with no dog smell whatsoever. The sitting areas are comforting, with lots of games and puzzles. The breakfast was hearty and delicious. We will be back!
