Wyndham Tucson Airport Hotel & Conference Center

Nice room. Everything was clean. We needed a couple things in the room, & the front desk was fast to help. Quiet. Comfortable bed & pillows. The breakfast buffet had a good variety, small but we didn't leave hungry. We would stay here again.

Solely upon arrival, I was already repeatedly asked by a staff member in the hallway while walking to my|girlfriend’s room (i had to arrive separately due to transportation), to verify the guest’s room I was walking to. I completely understand and agree that all guests who are checked in should be protected and ensured their safety while staying at any hotel, however I had already verified it with the front desk so their lack of communication between staff is very evident and in other areas as well. Our hotel room and the entire hotel (especially for being a “well-known” brand like Wyndham) was among the worst I have sincerely stayed at. Positive: Nice location and really good breakfast Negative: So my a/c leaked all over the carpet and I didn't notice until just before bed due to wearing shoes. They offered to swap my room but as i was already unpacked and about to go to bed didn't swap. Also door safety latch didn't line up with door.

My daughter flew in from Misawa AFB in Japan to surprise her dad who was being promoted to Chief at DM AFB in Tucson. Eryn flew I on Thursday, Feb 27. Due to a flight delay, I was unable to pick her up as expected. I went to the hotel to drop off a home made meal for her as the flight is extremely long. Gina listened to my story and graciously let me place her meal in her room which was ready. I explained to Gina that we had kept Eryn's arrival from her dad for almost a month and why we were surprising him. Gina waited for Eryn's call and had the shuttle pick her up swiftly. The following day after the ceremony, Eryn realized she had accidentally left her shirt in the room. Thankfully we got Gina again. Disclaimer: I consistently try to post positive, informative reviews. I will endeavor to do so, however, it's important for my fellow travelers to get a true depiction of this hotel. I am not sure if the hotel has recently suffered from a bad weather event like a hurricane or tornado, which would account for what I experienced. The smell in the hallways and room were musty, dank, spoiled. There was trash on the floors getting to our room. There were wet looking towels propping open the doors as we navigated through the halls. Did I mention the smell? There were large cracks in the marble floors. The lobby looks decent, so maybe they are starting with that and working through the rest of the hotel. I will post a few pics.. until they are cleaned up and ready, there are other lovely Wyndhams
