Hampton Inn & Suites Tucson Marana

Very clean hotel and rooms. Conveniently located to a shopping area and in close proximity to I-10. Continental breakfast had a good variety of items. I didn't use the pool or fitness area while there. However, the pool area and was clean and the fitness area had the standard equipment, which was in good condition.

handle on the toilet was missing when we walked into the room but kayleigh (sorry if I misspelled it) helped us switch to a new room right away and just down the hall so it wasn’t a hassle moving our stuff. guest laundry was also very convenient and the rooms were overall nice and clean. i’m not a big breakfast eater but my parents really enjoyed it especially the waffle makers. we probably won’t be back any time soon but if we are we’d gladly stay here again. one of the best stops we had along our cross country road trip

We always stay at Hampton hotels. This one was nice but had a few issues and a few regular annoyances. First, in our room 401, there was a constant noise in the bathroom. I could not tell if it was an air noise or an endless water supply noise. Definitely something in the walls. Fortunately, with the bathroom door closed, a noise machine and earplugs, I slept through it. The internet in this room dropped several times, although reconnected after a couple of minutes. The bed was not the normal Hampton standard. The frame popped at the ends and the mattress was harder than normal. This issue is the same for every Hampton, the bottom sheet does not tuck under the mattress so 1-2 turns and it comes loose. I truly do not understand how this is an issue in every hampton/hilton. I needed a hotel for one night during the week. I had a King Studio Suite with a wet bar, and the room and bathroom were very comfortable and spacious including the closet. I slept very well, and the AC unit worked great providing a little white noise if you kept the fan running - not loud and clanky like some others. The only reason why I give it 4 stars is that there was a humid smell in the bathroom upon arrival and a noise coming from the bathroom area which sounded like continuous running water, but with the door closed and the AC on I could drown it out. Also I don't like seeing large dogs in the hallway and for the sake of folks that have pet allergies, I wish the hotels would confine pets to certain floors and rooms.
