Woodstock Campground

You can't beat the location! Each site comes with a fire ring and two benches, and the grass is well-maintained and soft. Ronnie is super helpful--he had recommendations for hikes, set us up with firewood (only eight extra dollars), and made us feel like someone was watching and keeping our tent safe while we were out. I will absolutely be back and recommend this campground to anyone. There are no bathrooms/water, but there are options nearby that make that a nonissue.

Phenomenal experience in one of my favorite areas of the gorge. Primitive camping sites with nice fire pit and 2 log benches by them. Owner was awesome. Made sure we had everything we needed. He has firewood for sale as well.

Ronnie is an awesome guy and his property is so nice to camp on. The location is close to everything like chimney top rock, sky bridge, and climbing in Muir Valley. Brick has delicious ice cream and coffee 1 minute up the road and there’s a bar/grill right next to that for burgers and beer. We brought our class c RV and Ronnie accommodated us just fine 38ft total length. It is primitive camping though but only $30 a night cash only. $20 a night for tent campers I believe. Definitely would stay here again. Also handmade benches and fire pit at the camp sites which are awesome.

My favorite campground at the gorge. The gentleman that runs this place is awesome. Super nice and helpful. Clean campground as well and plenty of room for everything you do. There isn't a bathroom or shower house but there is plenty of places around him to use. I highly recommend staying here.

We LOVE Woodstock! Such a beautiful, open, peaceful property and each site has its own handmade benches and firepit. Literally right off the road for Red River Gorge so you’re 10 minutes from creation falls, sky bridge, chimney top rock, etc. Also right down the road from Sky Station and The Brick for beers, ice cream and coffee. Also just 15 minutes from the amazing Muir Valley climbing area. Literally couldn’t ask for a better location for a weekend in RRG. Not to mention how peaceful it is, away from the hustle and bustle of the other camps in Slade. Ronnie is the kindest host, very considerate and welcoming. He helped us when we pulled in to guide our big rig to the best spot (35 foot camper). He has tent sites and space for RVs but it is primitive camping so be prepared - no water or
