Majestic Mountainview Cabin

Cabin was good. Nice view. Only one towel per guest is provided and small bottle of soap & shampoo. A little dated, with some inside cobwebs, the back covered porch had cigarette butts from a previous guest, and a used paint brush was left near the back fire pit/BBQ area. Overall a decent place.

Almost everything about the place is great--except for the mice. We found mouse droppings in all the drawers and cabinets. Actually saw mice twice. Management was NOT responsive. One of the beds is lopsided and the pillows were mediocre. There was a lack of towels and toilet paper (so we had to supplement). If those problems were addressed, this cabin would be a five star. Instead, we left early and were frustrated with needing to keep all our food locked up and constantly wipe countertops (with cleaner we had to purchase, because none were supplied). It's a shame, because this really is a great place with a great view.

It is currently undergoing a renovation so the roof for the wrap around deck wasn't finished but the side with the view is so thats all that matters! The drive in I would absolutely recommend 4wd or a sturdy vehicle I have a small cruze and it got a little hairy after it rained while we were trying to go up but we made it. Overall if you're thinking about it just do it, it's worth every penny

The view and the hot tub are great. However, the mattresses are a little worse for wear and one of the side doors is very difficult to open.

It has privacy and a beautiful view. With a wrap around porch, amenities include a gas fireplace, hot tub, pool table and more.
