WoodSpring Suites Quantico

When we came in the front doors, it smelled like marijuana. The elevator and hallways smelled like marijuana the whole time we were there. They do not have hand towels at this hotel, only bath towels and washcloths. There is no coffee pot in the rooms. The pillows were flat and my neck hurt when I woke up. There is no mirror in the room, only in the bathroom over the counter which made it difficult for the whole family to get ready in the morning. No hangers for coats and clothes. It was disappointing that there were not basic amenities in this hotel and that it smelled like marijuana everywhere except for in our room. . .

This was a terrible experience. The front desk service was terrible, unhelpful and extremely rude. The elevator was out of service which was difficult for my elderly parents and the front desk was not helpful in remedying the situation. The rooms were musty and smelled like mold. They charge by towel and spoon and the cost per room is above what is advertised. The only positive was the interaction between customer and room service...the people who cared for the rooms were amazing

My family is homeless and had nowhere to go. Woodspring Suites became our home for about 2 weeks. We felt valued and that our business was wanted when we first checked in, but towards the end of our stay, only one or two people remained with great customer service. We were already fighting daily challenges, and homelessness, there was no need to feel devalued. We had given ALL awe had in funds to this hotel, and were upset that at the end, we were treated like anything. There was a grand opening, yet we were never invited to come down. The fact there was a charge for everything sucked. The hotel was clean and definitely a great place to stay temporarily, I just wish the attitude towards us didn’t change. I was scheduled to arrive on a Monday and depart first thing Wednesay morning. My flight was canceled so I arrived Tuesday evening. When I went to check out Wednesday morning I found out they added an additional night to my reservation and asked me why I was checking out early that they had me scheduled to leave Thursday morning. And even after I showed them my reservation, their response was "sorry, we are a 100% non-refundable hotel". I asked the front desk to have the manager call me to get this taken care of. That still hasn't happened, even after the front desk said they would have the manager call me multiple times. I will be disputing the charge on my credit card until this is taken care of by the hotel.

The price definitely reflects the cleanliness of the rooms. As soon as you walk in the HVAC vents are caked with dust. There was obviously a humidity issue as well because everything metal in the room was starting to rust, the rooms and halls were musty, and the floors were always sticky. Tried to connect to wifi and was told I had to call a phone number to have the router reset so I could be added. That didn't work, so they wanted my phone and computer information to manually add me to the network. No thanks.
