Red Roof Inn & Suites Stafford, VA

I'd say, to be fair it is a red roof inn not a Hilton.... This was great for one night. The room was mostly clean (had a wet dog odor to it), parking was ample, great shopping center across the street with restaurants and a Walmart nearby. The bed was horrible and directly outside our room (on top of the hill) was a homeless encampment, large tent and all. 😳 How?

Positive: Nothing. I will never stay there ever again!! Negative: The cleanliness of the room. The shower held the water while taking a shower. The toilet was not clean. There were no towels or toilet tissue in the bathroom. I had to go to the front desk to get toilet tissue. There was no breakfast offered as well.

I must tell you that I’m very comfortable when I stay here. The staff is very accommodating to me. I would like to express my gratitude to Ms.Denise Mason, who have been very professional in this business. When I arrive late nights she is on board and Ms.Mason take her precious time to make sure that I’m secure & she make sure that I’m comfortable in the room of my choice. If something is wrong at a room that I’m not comfortable with she assure to place me in a room that I am comfortable in. Ms.Denise Mason, have a way with her kind & sweet personality to make sure when I arrive sometimes late that I’m rest assur

We stopped at Red Roof inn, Stafford VA after a long day of travel. It was 10:30pm....BIG MISTAKE!!!! First of all price inside at desk was more than on their web site. When I asked about it he said well prices differ on line???Gave me a $6.00 AAA discount. First Room had a vent full of white powdery and solid substance. Didn't know if it was white mold or what it was. Went to front desk and asked for a different room. Room 2 vent also gross. I asked for my money back and desk clerk begged us to give them one more chance. if it wasn't that late and both of us exhausted we would have left. We did give them another chance and heater vent was good but room was right above the check in desk and we heard laughing and loud talking , people walking up and down the stairs all night long..I

Great location. There is a sports bar/restaurant across the street. Walking distance to convenience stores. The rooms are clean and quiet with great bedding. There is a fridge and microwave in the room. A great place to stop. The hotel is pet friendly (we had to have $50 charge authorization) and the people who work here are very friendly.
