WoodSpring Suites Port Orange - Daytona Beach

We stayed at this hotel for a few weeks, and it was amazing! The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect for our needs. Every member of the front desk staff and housekeeping team was wonderful, especially Michael and Natasha. They were accommodating and extremely helpful. The towels and bedding were not exchanged during our visit per the hotel policy, but we were prepared for that going into it. When we pass through the area in the future, we will definitely stay here again!

This hotel is overpriced! We stayed 1/16-1/18 and were told upon check in that we could get clean towels for $10 if we brought ours to the front desk for exchange. No maid service. Shampoo, conditioner and soap only. No sound deadening whatsoever! Heard every noise our neighbors made all night long. Almost had to call the police with scary sounds going on. Kitchenette with absolutely nothing in it. No way to use the range unless we went out and bought appliances. Night staff was terrible. Morning staff was wonderful. Coffee in the morning. Other than that, nothing. Will never stay there again.

One good thing, no carpet. Bed is very marginal. Bedding is thin and not updated. Only 1 side end table by bedsides. Very thin walls, can hear people and TVs in adjoining rooms. No hand towels in bathroom. Only 1 set of towels and washrag in bathroom for 2 days, not adequate toilet tissue paper for 2 days, no kleenex in room. Floors must not have been cleaned very thoroughly because a pair of socks was on the floor under the air conditioner. We cannot recommend this hotel, it is very bare bones at a fairly high price.

Positive: Them refunding my money at the front desk without too much of a hassle after the check in host was one of the rudest obnoxious people I have ever dealt with in doing a business transaction Negative: The check-in host asked for my credit card was writing down the numbers on the back of it. I have no idea why, but I snatched the card back out of her hand.

The hotel was very clean and organized. The customer service was great. The downfall was there was not hot water at all. My whole family had to take cold showers. You also need to pay for any extra towels you may need. There was also no iron or ironing boards available in the rooms.
