WoodSpring Suites Lake Charles

I had a very disappointing experience with the receptionist at WoodSpring Suites Lake Charles. I called simply to ask about the price for two nights, and the receptionist was extremely rude and unprofessional from the beginning. First, she put me on hold for a long time without any explanation. After waiting, I disconnected the call and called back. When I asked again about the rate for two nights, she responded very rudely and said, “I already gave you the rate,” with a very disrespectful tone. I explained that she had put me on hold for a long time, but instead of apologizing or helping, she became even more rude. She then said something like I “called back” even though I had never stayed there, and her attitude made it very clear that she did not want to talk to me at all. There was n

Positive: NOTHING!..No one to report anything to at checkout, no one was at the desk just left keys on the counter Negative: There was no toilet paper in the bathroom, blood or food stains on the wall, the sheets weren?t not clean(stained), hair in the bed seemingly sheets weren?t changed, slept basically on a cot, something bit me all night, room smelled like insect spray.

Please save your money!! I literally could have gotten such a nicer place for the amount of money we spent here. We noticed a horrible smell after entering our room, like mildew or something rotten. Lo and behold we discovered mold growing in our room. The humidity in there was unreal. The floors were grimy and had dirt all over them. There was a thick layer of dust on everything like it hadn’t been cleaned in a year. The refrigerator had dirt and hair in it. Just overall disgusting. The beds are a cheap mattress on top on an even cheaper metal frame. Our bed was actually broken on the bottom and we kept sliding off of it. They only give you two thin sheets and an even thinner blanket. Rooms were not supplied with any kind of toiletries or silverware either. Our room also did not have a sh

The lady at the front was the only good thing about this experience. This is a nasty hotel. Dirty! The vents had stuff caped on them. There was no blankets on the bed or in the room so I stayed cold. The halls stayed filled with weed smells. The carpet in the hall has trash in the floors. The bathroom floor looked rotted. The water pressure was horrible. Not a great area either. Regret this decision dearly! Never again! Spend a little more too not subject yourself to this garbage of a hotel.

Horrible experience. The outside of the hotel is nice, it’s located in a nice area but that’s it. The hotel smells really bad, the old man at the front desk has the worst customer service I ever had, he’s very rude and besides that be aware they desk is closed at night, they all go home and leave a paper with a phone number to call in case of emergency. That place really sucks, is very nasty.
