I went to Michigan State to see my niece who is a freshman. I had no idea where to stay, and WoodSpring was on American Airlines webpage, so I assumed it was a good place. WRONG!!||The first thing you notice is plenty of free parking. As I entered the small but welcoming lobby, it has lots of cute decorations for Christmas. It’s also VERY clean – as was my room – VERY clean. The room had no carpet – which I like as carpet is just gross. So I appreciated the vinyl floors.||That’s pretty much it for the plus column. The rest is a page out of “What is the BARE minimum we have to provide?”||The front desk closes (a big metal shade comes down) at ?? they don’t post the hours, so I was never sure when the front desk would or would not be covered. I find it rather UNSAFE, IRRESPONSIBLE an

I stayed here for three weeks while I finished the semester at MSU. The weekly rate is a good deal, and the place is nearly brand new. Beyond that, I found the rooms to be too hot and humid for my liking. People in previous comments have mentioned how they think there might be a black mold problem here -- I agree. My dog and I both had really bad allergy issues for our entire stay. It made it difficult for us to get a good night sleep. Worse -- call me paranoid -- but of the 21 days I stayed at this Woodspring Suites location, 19 of them I needed to get my key replaced at the front desk after leaving to take my dog on our morning walk at the park. I don't know if maintenance and/or housekeeping were entering my room w/o my knowledge, forcing my key to need to be reset, but it was disconcer

I don't recommend staying here. The room includes a "kitchenette," but it doesn't have an oven, which makes cooking difficult. On top of that, dishes and cookware aren't provided—you have to pay for a more expensive room just to get basic items like plates and pans. This means you can't really use the stovetop unless you go out and buy your own supplies. When I asked to check out a few days early because I wasn't able to cook, the front desk refused to offer any refund for the unused nights. This is unreasonable to me and poor customer care. If you're planning to prepare meals during your stay, I'd recommend looking for another property. The kitchenette sounds convenient, but its ultimately pretty useless.

Over the past few months of staying at WoodSpring Suites, each member of the staff: Cori, Natalie, Joe, Lupe, Shalini, have been very professional and kind to myself each day. Each person seems to be mission-focused. Amenities in the rooms are great: full-size bathtubs, plenty of counter space in bathroom, newer dishwashers, microwaves, convection burners that allow for home-cooking, queen-sized mattresses with supportive frames, lots of built-in shelving, large, flat-screen TV, ability to decorate, etc.||This Team is customer-focused, finding creative solutions to routine issues. I especially appreciate this hotel's on-call structure: reassuring both long-term and short-term guests that all emergencies will be managed in a swift manner, ensuring everyone's safety.||Kid-friendly · Great va

I believe Woodspring has jumped onto the alarming trend of companies who dishonestly extract money from customers, then hide behind AI and offshore call centers when the customer objects.|I've stayed at Woodspring Suites East Lansing, MI at least 6 times, always pre-paying, following all rules as a well-behaved guest. This time, they canceled my pre-paid reservation at the last minute. They claim Expedia canceled it, but I was not logged into Expedia when the room was canceled, and a supervisor at Expedia says the cancellation did not come from them. I called Woodspring and they began to lie to me in various ways. First I was told "the property is completely booked" for my dates. My room had just been canceled an hour previous, so I asked what had happened to it, and she claimed she could
