WoodSpring Suites Cocoa Beach - Rockledge

My wife and I just stayed there to see my step daughter in a neighboring area. I thought I would first summarize the bad and the good. The bad: 1. Not great sound proofing (can hear barking dogs in rooms near you, people walking above you). We always wear ear plugs when we sleep so not a big deal. 2. No Continental Breakfast, but they do have coffee in the lobby area in the morning from 7-10 a.m. There is a snack machine off the lobby that accepts credit card. 3. Towels and wash cloths are on the low cost side, but they work. You can ask for extras. 4. The narrow bathtub is slick on the bottom when taking a shower, but we used a towel to help with footing. I assume only the handicap rooms have grab bars. Rubber mats in all of the showers would be good. 5. No Kleenex or hair dryer. We aske

The rooms are nice and neat. They have a fridge, microwave and stove, however, for the foodware you have to pay a bit for it, so I recommend bringing your own. As well as dental hygiene. The hotel is close to I-95 so it makes it easier to go to places. There are good restaurants in the area and most of them are 15 minutes away max. Downtown area is also only like 10 minutes away from it.

I've been staying here w my dog, Goliath, for an extended amount of time. The hotel is clean & maintained daily. It smells great. The room is updated, spacious & comfy. I pay a reasonable weekly rate especially since my dog is welcome. The awesome people that run this place is really what makes this hotel stand out from the others. April, Gervonde, Alizea, Jessica & oh no i can't recall the maintenence guy's name at the moment... sorry... they've all not only been professional, efficient and well-qualified but they're all so friendly & helpful. They are so good to Goliath each time he encounters them. Each of them have assisted me individually w different tasks that couldn't be in their job descriptions. Rooms have very thin walls and floors. No dishware other than for rent. No curtains in the rooms, there are blinds but they let it a ton of light still. They don’t clean your room everyday, they also do not come give you clean towls. You have to go down and get them. The ac works well. Fridge was clean and working. Microwave was working. I stayed here nearly a month and the first week was horrible as I was on a lower floor and could only hear pounding all day and night as every footstep you can hear when on the lower floors. After a week I got moved into the top floor and its much better for sound, but I got put next to a guest that talks all night and again, thin walls so you can hear everything. From the start, I was greeted with one of the nicest souls(Amanda perhaps? Beautiful Hispanic? woman, all due respect). Not only was she able to accommodate me but did so with others waiting behind. She was able to stay engaged with all, call for back up, re-unsure satisfactory with all guest and still deliver impeccable service.||Why was there others waiting you ask? It’s because the hotel is brand new, in perfect condition, pet friendly, & yet respectful to all customers.||It only took me a short time to inform the rest of my team to book their stay here. ||At first I only booked my stay for a week. After some of the best service I have received, I met Izzy. She was also just as kind as the first employee and continued to give impeccable service and prolong my stay the next few weeks.||L
