The Bonsai - A Modern Motor Court

The hotel was very clean and check in was easy. However, the amenities were extremely limited. Only one hand soap and two small shampoo samples were provided (for two), so we had to use hand soap to wash ourselves. Also, the railroad runs right next to the hotel, and trains woke us up almost every hour throughout the night. We had no idea this would be an issue when booking. We chose this place to rest before a long trip, but we barely slept, which completely defeated the purpose of our stay.

Fantastic little find! Simple, retro, quirky, and old school in the best way possible! Our room was exactly what we needed for 2 nights. Simply decorated with comfy bed and pillows, a good sized fridge/freezer and SUPER CLEAN!!! Check in was easy, the site manager was friendly and although it's close to the train tracks (they provide earplugs in case that sound isn't your thing) it's pretty quiet at night.

Well there are limited hotels in Rockledge. We found this one on the internet. There are no bonsai that we saw.||The good: They state that the motel has been upgraded although it still looks like it is from the 1980s. The room was small but clean. The bed was firm and comfortable. It has a mini fridge and freezer. The air conditioner/heater keeps the room a constant temperature. They have a microwave, vending machines at the car port/porch and keurig coffee machine. ||The bad: the fridge sits in the closet so it is not really a closet. No clothes hangers. No soap, conditioner or body wash in the shower. No tissues. The shampoo comes in a small tin foil packet that I could not even open with my teeth. They state they have free laundry but it is unclear where it is. ||The ugly:

Very nice motel, loved our short stay there! Sparkly clean, modern & spacey room, super friendly & helpful service, great location. Definitely check out the beautiful scenice road along the river ride behinde the motel. Decently priced, very comfortable beds, nice free coffee and even free laundry. We also slept very nice in the comfy bed and had no issues with noise although it’s directly located on a big road and next to an active railroad. Overall, really recommended!

Just perfect. ❤️ I wish I would of found this hotel first. The room was comfortable. The area was perfect for where we needed to be. Very clean and simple... We will be using this place for all our stays over there. Great price and I love the little outdoor kitchen area.
