Van Winkle Motel

At first the attendant was awesome. She gave great customer service but no wifi really hurt the service rating. Carpets need to be removed. That will improve the smell and fix the bug issues. For the price it's the best value you can find if you can live without wifi. 2 weeks later. This place is nasty they only clean the rooms every two weeks. You pay weekly. No wonder there this pace is infested with roaches. Have a friend that wanted to stop by while driving down to south florida. Asked about the visitors policy they would not be staying over night. However you have to pay for someone to come in the room you are already paying weekly to occupy. I believe that's not right never visited a hotel and have them charge for family to come in to the place you are staying. Update: the owner c

Very good Motel for vacation in Florida Space Coast. Unbeatable prices for 1 week including parking 3 minutes to Cocoa Village with many bars, restaurants, 10 minutes to the beach to Cocoa Beach Simply a great place to stay on site Thumbs up for this place

Don’t believe the haters. I’ve stayed many times. Great staff, great rates and very comfortable. Location is ideal. Five minute walk to Cocoa Village and ten minute drive to beach. Rockledge, Melbourne and Viera very close as well. This place should be first on your list.

I can only leave a review based on my visit to Van Winkle. The rooms are a bit small, but they have your basic needs. This hotel has a no visitor policy ( which could be a good thing). Also, the weekly rates are unbeatable. If you don’t mind a small room- this place could work. Downside: Room are rarely available.
