These beat our expectations! They do have room controlled heat/AC!! It is a Mr.Cool unit with adjustable fan speed, fan direction, heat temp and AC temp! When I booked on MammothCaveLodge website it said they don't have heat/AC... they need to update this. We were so happy! I walked around barefoot and white socks, my feet didnt get dirty. They did an amazing job keeping this cabin spotless. The bathroom was very clean and the cabin smelled fresh. The linens were in pristine condition and they gave us more towels than we needed. Thank you!!! The only thing was our cabin was almost out of body wash. We were there one night and were able to manage. It comes with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap and lotion. We were very happy with our stay. Thank you!! Photos are cabin 114

Our stay at the Woodland cottages in Mammoth Cave National Park was a wonderful experience! The cabins were cozy, clean, and provided the perfect rustic charm for our getaway. Nestled in the middle of nature, it was incredibly peaceful, with wildlife right outside the door and easy access to the hiking trails and cave tours. Despite the remote location, the cabins were well-maintained and comfortable, with all the basic amenities we needed. The staff were friendly and helpful, making check-in and check-out smooth and easy. After a day of exploring the caves and park, it was great to return to a quiet, relaxing space. If you're looking for an authentic nature escape with the convenience of being inside the park, these cabins are a great option. We can't wait to come back!

I booked a cottage last minute while on a road trip with my dog. Check in was super quick and easy. Our cottage was adorable and very clean. I loved that the cottages are located in an area central to the cave, trails, and visitors center. I accidentally locked myself out of my cabin at 6 am on Monday morning, and someone was able to let me back in within the hour! I was obviously embarrassed and everyone is spoke to was nothing but kind and helpful. We can't wait to come back!

Adorable, rustic cottages that remind you you're in a forest. (Some birds started building a nest behind the screen in our shower and we watched a doe clean up her newly born fawn 2o feet from our door!) Birds are your wake up alarm in the morning and the frogs sing you to sleep at night. The cabin has a refrigerator and small coffee maker. Cooking is not allowed, but the picnic area with grills and tables is just around the corner. There are comfy chairs outside to sit and enjoy the surroundings where I spent the bulk of my waking, non-touring/hiking time. The fold-out beds are very comfy and we never needed the space heaters provided. If you're visiting during uncomfortable temperatures or would just rather have insulated, air conditioned living quarters in this outdoor heaven, you shoul

The cabins are spotless and the exterior is no indication of the quality of the interior. No a/c which was only a problem during the day. There are no cooking facilities near the cabins and no tables or chairs in or near the cabin so bring a cook stove, camp chairs and a table. This was only a difficulty because covid made restaurants a difficult option. Slightly larger mini-fridges in the cabin, we had one per room. Overall we enjoyed our stay and the staff was responsive and kind.
