Woahink Lake Suites

We checked in but did not stay. We brought our Canam and trailer for the Oregon Dunes and my husband didn't like that the outside area was so dark to be parking in. There was only 1 little light by the doors (and not very bright) for the outside lighting. We were given a smoking room with one bed. The room smelled of smoke and it was not going to accommodate 4 adults - I had reserved a room with 2 beds. So we asked for another room (which was when we found out we were the only guests at this small motel with 6 suites). Odd because the sign said No vacancy. Upon entering the room it needed updating and everything is mismatched. Missing baseboard in the kitchen and old heaters along the baseboards. Pros: |I didn't personally speak to the owners much but they were definitely kind and helpful. The lake view was great. It probably would have been a better experience if we had actually used the lake and beach but lake plans fell through and the weather happened to not be great. The television in the room is fantastic. It's very close to town and to the dunes.||Cons:|They switched our room around with letting us know until we were there. I went back and checked and it says nothing about this in the checkout process. The room was still okay, but it would have been nice to know.|The sink was leaky and the decor and building seemed outdated. There was a dead spider in one of the drawers. Horrible. Charged my card after me asking them to let me put it on a different card. Everything is broken and the staff didn’t even give us a key and then charged our card two weeks later. Bathroom floor was soft. Coffee pot had cooked in coffee in the bottom. Toaster smelled like burning plastic. The heaters barely worked. All the dishes were dirty no dish rag was there and the dish drained was covered in old food. Room smelled badly of deodorizer and BO. Beds were the only decent thing in the room. Way too much money for what we got! Don’t waste your time find someplace else.

The lake view is beautiful from the back patio. It is quiet, and relaxing. The room was spacious with a kitchenette. Most importantly, they are pet friendly! We were going to stay one night and ended up staying 7 nights because it was so cozy. The managers are super friendly as well. We will definitely stay again!

We really enjoyed our stay here. They were very accommodating with our check in and checkout time. The rooms are large in size and very comfortable. They are pet friendly and are by the lake. You have an excellent view of the lake from the room’s deck. I most definitely recommend this place.
