Park Motel and Cabins

This place is an underrated gem of a motel! It's location allows you easy access to the entire coast (so long as youve got a vehicle it's nearly halfway between Newport and Bandon). The manager was absolutely fantastic, friendly, and professional! The room we stayed in had two comfortable and large beds. The room was very clean and cozy. As someone who frequents the coast often, it is one of the best kept secrets in Florence; I'd highly recommend it!

We had a very bad experience with the host and the premises. Near the hiway, the log trucks and 18 wheelers kept us awake. Construction noises 20 feet away woke us early. We paid a premium price for the kitchen and then discovered no pots, pans or utensils! For $25 the "gracious", host would supply them. Total rip-off. TV was not functional, and we had to wait for help. Wi-fi was not secure, so could not do any online biz. Bright lights in front all night and no black out curtains. Totally overpriced, as we paid over $400 for two nights. Tried to cancel second night, but because we booked through Reservation Desk app we were denied refund. Still left a day early. Obviously will not return.

I booked a cabin for my family, so our stay would be all together. Upon arrival I was told there was a problem and It was double booked, so we had to split our group into 2 regular hotel rooms, without a way to cook, and make the best of it. The rooms were OK, but the one with laminate flooring was so dirty our feet turned black from walking around. Definitely need to do a better mopping job. Probably won't stay again due to the uncertainty of getting what you reserve, and no communication before arrival!

Clancy was awesome! He went above and beyond to make sure that my family was satisfied after Booking.com had messed up on the type of room we were getting and Clancy was super friendly and worked with us until we were happy! The cabin was so much fun to stay in and we will definitely be coming back to Parks Motel and cabins 😊

Stayed here for a week over new years 2026… the quietest and most peaceful new years I’ve ever had. Room was excellent! Clancy the owner is top drawer. Very nice room! Awesome amenities, the recliner was supper cool Clancy! Great shower, perfect toiletries… there were other reviews of paper thin walls… I did not experience this, however if you had some loud SoB next door I guess it could be a problem. However the hotel has posted quiet hours from 10pm to 8am so one call to Clancy would solve that problem. Not only would I stay here again but I would drive miles out of my way to do so.
